Maplewood's Horse Industry Training Program Featured in Practical Horseman

"The Maplewood Horse Industry Training Program is schooling future horsemen one day at time through its two-year course" is the introduction to an extensive, seven-page feature in the August  issue of Practical Horseman magazine as well as the coveted cover.

The article highlights the many unique aspects of this program, licensed by Nevada's Commission of Post-Secondary Education. Established by trainer, rider and judge Julie Winkel, the Horse Industry Training Program evolved from Julie's successful internship program, which had been in place for more than a decade.
