Maplewood's jumpers made their presence known during the Central California Winter Classic Horse Shows, held November 1-12 at the Paso Robles Horse Park in Paso Robles, California.

During Week 1, Julie Winkel and the stallion Good To Know sped to victory in two 1.30m classes to earn championship honors.

Likewise, Andrew Jayne guided Georgia Brown's Onyx to the championship tricolor in the 1.20m section with a win and a fourth-placed finish.

Andrew also guided Maplewood's homebred Cartel (by Cartouche Z) to second-placed ribbons in the $5,000 1.40m Jumpers and in the 1.30m Jumpers and earned the reserve championship in the 1.40m section for their consistent performances.

Louisa Baker's 4-year-old Illuminesche made her show ring with great results, earning excellent ribbons in the .70m Jumpers with Andrew in the irons. Andrew also piloted Outlier (by Osilvis) to impressive performances in the 1.20m Jumpers.

Susan Bernard traveled from Washington to train with Maplewood for the first week and returned home with armloads of ribbons and awards, including the reserve championship in the Modified Children's/Adult Jumpers aboard E Magine. Susan also jumped to excellent ribbons aboard Enjoy in the Low Children's/Adult Jumpers.
