Julie Winkel and Maplewood Stables held their 40th Anniversary Open House, which took place on Sunday, October 29. The event attracted more than 40 attendees who enjoyed stable tours, refreshments, a hay ride tour of the facility, pony rides, a presentation of the 2017 foals and a costumed jumping demonstration by “the Knight in Shining Armor” (Julie Winkel) aboard the resident breeding stallion Osilvis.

“We were thrilled to celebrate our 40th anniversary and invite our friends and neighbors to join us for this momentous occasion,” said Julie. “Not many businesses are able to achieve this milestone, and I thank all of our many supporters over the decades for helping us to remain a successful training, showing, breeding and educational facility here in Nevada.”
